His extensive background in the airline industry has honed his ability to navigate complex situations, foster meaningful connections, and ensure smooth, high-quality experiences for diverse audiences.
Beyond his professional career, Jimmy is a dedicated advocate for education, community development, and environmental protection in Sarasota, Florida. He serves as:
- Vice Chair of the City of Sarasota Parks, Recreation, and Environmental Protection Advisory Board, where he helps shape policies that enhance public spaces and sustainability efforts.
- Board President of Star Lab, a pioneering charter kindergarten school in Newtown that redefines education by focusing on what is learned rather than what is taught.
- Board Member of the Friends of the Betty J. Johnson North Sarasota Library, supporting literacy initiatives, cultural programs, and community enrichment
His passion for empowering communities, preserving cultural heritage, and advocating for accessible education continues to drive his work, making a lasting impact in Sarasota and beyond.

I've volunteered on Sarasota city board of human relations the Democratic Black Caucus also ran for city commissioner in 2024
